Two Fulbright alumni have recently published books directly linked to their research in France, Paula Harrington (2012) and Andrew Seguin (2013).
Paula Harrington's book, Mark Twain & France: The Making of a New American Identity, was co-written with her Fulbright host, Roland Jenn at the Université de Lille. It explores Mark Twain's relationship with the French and his travels in France, and how these experiences shaped his conception of what it means to be American.
The Room in which I Work, by Andrew Seguin, is a book of poetry on the theme of French inventor Joseph Nicéphore Niépce who made the first photograph. The book's photos are ones he took during his Fulbright grant.
