Core programs

All Disciplines

For established scholars, recent doctoral-degree recipients, and appropriately qualified professionals outside of academia.

4-6 grants awarded

3-6 months in France beginning any time after September 2020.

The Fulbright US Scholars Core Program in all disciplines allows grantees to conduct research in the humanities, social sciences, and natural and applied sciences. Grantees collaborate with colleagues from French research centers and institutes of higher education. We encourage grantees to participate in local conferences and workshops, to conduct seminars, and to share their research with colleagues at the host institution.

We expect applicants to arrange an affiliation and to solicit an invitation from a prospective host institution.
