CY Cergy Paris University is a multidisciplinary teaching and research university located just outside of Paris, created in January 2020. It is the result of a merger of several reputable French academic institutions : the University of Cergy-Pontoise, EISTI School of Engineering, Paris Seine University, and the close partnership of ESSEC Business School.

CY Cergy Paris University is reimagining the higher education and research landscape in France, and therefore an exciting place to be for international scholars. It is funded by the French Investissements d'avenir program as one of the 19 French Universities of Excellence (http://theparisseineinitiative.org/en/the-paris-seine-initiative/).

It has four graduate schools, focusing respectively on science and technology; arts and humanities; education; and law and political science. Scholars interested in business and management may also be associated with the ESSEC Business School, which offers graduate programs in those fields.

CY Cergy Paris University's research laboratories cover a wide range of fields, from bioengineering to information technology, education, law, mathematics, cosmetics, and sports health science. You will find the complete listing at the following website: http://theparisseineinitiative.org/en/research-areas-and-research-centers/
