For more details on the Fulbright Specialist Program, please visit the World Learning website.
World Learning accepts and reviews applications year-round. Specialists are then matched with project requests from French institutions. French institutions may request a specific specialist (a named request) or describe the desired profile of the person they wish to invite, in which case World Learning will search the specialist database to find a suitable specialist.
French institutions interested in hosting a Fulbright Specialist must submit an application by April 15, 2020.
Specialists should have expertise in one of the following fields:
Priority is given to projects in Business Administration and Job Creation, Cyber Security and IT, Public Administration, Media Literacy/Countering Disinformation, Disaster Response, and STEM fields.
Three awards are reserved for the trilateral program. The US specialist will spend three weeks with a host institution in France, followed by two weeks with a host institution in an African partner country, and a final week in France. The French host institution will identify the African host institution based on its preexisting partnerships.
