The EducationUSA Academy is a two-to-four-week pre-college academic enrichment program held on select U.S. college and university campuses for 15-to 17-year-old students who are foreign nationals and intermediate, advanced, or native English speakers and reside outside the United States. The Academy offers information about applying to U.S. higher education institutions, strategies for success in a U.S. academic environment, tours of diverse college and university campuses, academic English, and the opportunity for international high schools students to experience U.S. campus life.The Academy’s goal is to create a new pipeline to U.S. higher education forinternational high school students who may not have otherwise considered studyingin the United States by providing them with information and skills to apply to, and be successful as undergraduates at, U.S. higher education institutions.
In 2022 all EducationUSA programs are virtual and called "EducationUSA Academy Connect".
Students should apply directly to their institution of choice and pay their own program and travel costs.The program cost includes tuition, books and materials, room and board, health insurance,cultural activities, and campus tours.
