Exceptional participation of Fulbright France at #NAFSA75 (Washington D.C.) from Tuesday May 30 to Friday June 2, 2023
Fulbright France took part in #NAFSA75 (Washington D.C.) from Tuesday May 30 to Friday June 2 as part of a double 75th anniversary: that of our Franco-American Commission and that of NAFSA (Association of International Educators), the world's largest institutional trade fair dedicated to higher education.
This exceptional participation in this fair enabled our Franco-American Commission to meet with representatives of American universities and Fulbright France alumni, to promote the program and to attend several conferences such as :
- May 31 Conference "Building Strong Faculty Bridges: A Critical Component of Campus Internationalization" led by four Fulbright France Alumnae (FIEA Program): - Adria L. - June 2 Conference "Tackling Global Challenges: Science Diplomacy In Fulbright Exchanges": - Mary Kirk, Director, Office of Academic Exchanges, Department of State - Terhi S Molsa, CEO, Fulbright Finland Foundation - Luiz Valcov Loureiro, Executive Director, Fulbright Commission, Brazil - Sarah Staton, Deputy Director, Department of State, Fulbright Alum to Ecuador
In addition, some members of the Fulbright France team took part in :
- the visit organized by Campus France of Howard University, the most prestigious of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).
- the reception at the Residence of France in Washington D.C. on Thursday June 1
