One of the highlights of the US grantee mid-year meetings was the award ceremony of the Arnaud Roujou de Boubée prize. Created in 2021 to honor the memory of the former director of the Commission, the prize recognizes the exceptional work of one French and one American advanced student in the current year’s cohort. The prize was awarded to Daniel Tran, advanced student in immunology at the Université de Paris-Cité, and Maryne Rondot advanced student in psychology at Columbia University, New York. Both winners will receive a grant allowing them to extend their stays abroad by two months. In a touching ceremony, Arnaud Roujou de Boubée’s widow Isabelle Roujou de Boubée was on hand to present the award at the Hôtel Tallyrand in Paris.
