Workshop, co-organized by Fulbright France alumni Sarah Harakat (Sorbonne Université) and Nicolas Raulin (EHESS), which will be held at the Maison de la Recherche, Sorbonne, 28 rue Serpente, Paris, on Friday May 6th.
This workshop will reflect on the notion of "mobility" among African-Americans in the post-Civil Rights Movement era. We will, among other talks, have the opportunity to hear more about Dr. Natoschia Scruggs's research on the city of Newark, NJ, "the City of Dreams" and its infamous 1967 riots.
Attendance can be in person or via Zoom, both requiring an inscription via email, but only one gets you a croissant.
