In memory of the former Executive Director who contributed so much to the development of the Fulbright program, the Franco-American Commission will award a prize each year to two current grantees (one American and one French) to allow them to prolong their stay by two months.
ELIGIBILITY : American grantees in the Advanced Student program and French grantees in the Étudiant program in the current year.
FIELDS OF STUDY : All
NUMBER : 1 award for an American grantee, 1 award for a French grantee.
AMOUNT : The equivalent of 2 months’ expenses
APPLICATION PROCEDURE : Candidates are invited to submit a one-page text about their research, explaining how an extension would be useful. Successful candidates will highlight their qualities of conviction, enthusiasm, academic excellence and clarity, values of the Fulbright community and values which were dear to Arnaud Roujou de Boubée. A jury under the presidency of the Director of the Commission and including Mrs. Roujou de Boubée and two members of the Board of Directors will determine the recipients. Recipients will submit a report on the use of the funds 3 months following the award.
