Concert for Alumni - Fabien Enger Trio at the Franco-American Commission
On Tuesday, June 24th, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Fabien Enger Trio to the Franco-American Commission for an exceptional concert celebrating the release of the album "Off the Seabed" (Inner Urge Records).
A big thank you to Fabien Enger (trumpeter: Fulbright France alumnus 2022/2023), Justin Griggs, and Shakoor Hakeem for their energy, creativity, and this vibrant musical moment: together, they brought the raw energy of free and contemporary jazz, blending hard-bop, gospel, hip-hop, blues, soul, avant-garde, and Afro-Cuban rhythms with influences from European improvised music.
