Dominique Kirchner Reill, Ivan Jeličić, and Francesca Rolandi co-authored this article titled: “Redefining Citizenship after Empire: The Rights to Welfare, to Work, and to Remain in a Post-Habsburg World,” Journal of Modern History, vol. 1, no. 2, 2022: 326-362.” which explores the consequences of the establishment of citizenship regimes after the First World War on the Habsburg imperial network for controlling mobility, a system known to specialists as Heimatrecht.
