Elisabeth Subrin is currently a Fulbright Research Scholar at École nationale supérieure d'arts de Paris Cergy, part of CY Cergy Paris Université. She was invited to talk about her project in France on French channel France 24, and more broadly about the situation of women in the film industry in France and in the United States, especially after the #MeToo movement. According to her, actress Maria Schneider can be considered a trailblaizer when it comes to denouncing violence against women in the film industry.
