CY Initiative of Excellence brings together CY Cergy Paris Université and ESSEC Business school, to create one of the 17 French Universities of Excellence, selected by the French government.
CY Cergy Paris Université is a multidisciplinary teaching and research university located just outside of Paris, created in January 2020. It is the result of a merger of several French academic institutions: the University of Cergy-Pontoise, EISTI School of Engineering, Paris Seine University, and the close partnership of ESSEC Business School.
It has four graduate schools, focusing respectively on Science and Technology; Arts and Humanities; Education; and Law and Political Science. Scholars interested in business and management may also be associated with the ESSEC Business School, which offers graduate programs in those fields.
CY Cergy Paris Université's research laboratories cover a wide range of fields, from Bioengineering to Information Technology, Education, Law, Mathematics, and Finance.
Grantees may research or a combination of teaching and research, and collaborate with colleagues at a research center at any of these two member institutions of CY Initiative: Cergy Paris Université, ESSEC Business School. Through collaborations with these members of CY Initiative, other members of CY Alliance may be considered, such as the schools of art and architecture.
Questions regarding obtaining an affiliation may be addressed to iea@cyu.fr.
