European Executive Directors Meeting at Fulbright France
Last week, Fulbright France had the pleasure of hosting in Paris the annual meeting of Executive Directors of Fulbright Commissions across Europe and beyond (April 22–24), in the presence of representatives from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.
This gathering offered a valuable opportunity to share perspectives and reflect on the evolving role of our commissions in a rapidly changing international environment. At a time when academic exchange and transatlantic cooperation are both more necessary and more complex than ever, these conversations felt particularly meaningful !
Beyond the sessions, what stood out most was the strength of our transatlantic network, the openness of discussions, the willingness to share challenges and solutions, and the collective commitment to carrying forward the Fulbright mission and values, as the Fulbright Program celebrates its 80th anniversary,
