On the occasion of International Women's Day, let's take a look back at the experience of Dr. Jocelyn Brown, Fulbright Research Scholar 2023/24
Dr. Brown's (Columbia University) project in France (Saint-Denis Hospital Center) was: "Child abuse pediatrics and narrative medicine: an integrated model of care for victims of violence".
As part of her Fulbright stay, Jocelyn gave a talk at an event celebrating International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (November 25) and fundraising for the Maison des Femmes (Women's House).
During the panel discussion, Jocelyn was asked: "Why someone comes from NY to visit this model?" and she answered: "I am here on a Fulbright scholarship... it's an Erasmus for Senior... but I realize it's much more than that."
Jocelyn also had the opportunity to speak with the First Lady, Mrs. Brigitte Macron.
