The region of Nord Pas de Calais-Picardie lies at the intersection of three great capital cities: Brussels, Paris, and London. The region continues a long-standing research tradition, hosting more than 250 laboratories and multi-disciplinary research centers. The region offers a variety of research opportunities in the natural sciences, enginneering, the social sciences, and in its well-developed industries in ground transportation, production and communications engineering, food processing, and microelectronics.

Research Scholar Award: €2,800 per month. Additional travel allowance of €1,200. Post-doc/early career: minimum €2,200 per month. Additional travel allowance of €1,200.

French language ability should be commensurate with the requirements of the project.

Many host institutions offer language courses.

We prefer candidates who intend to improve their French language skills.
