We were pleased to welcome our group of American degree-seeking Fulbrighters to France with a hybrid in-person/Zoom orientation. We met up in front of the Panthéon for a guided walking tour on the theme of the Black presence in Paris, followed by a picnic lunch near Montmartre. In the afternoon, everyone logged on to learn about each other and practical details about life in France.
Our students are based in the Paris area, Lyon, and Lille, and are studying fields as different as the classics, biomedical engineering, and dance.
