The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that François Gauthier has been named Interim Director of the Commission until the end of 2021.
Mr. Gauthier studied at the École normale supérieure de Saint Cloud and the École nationale d'administration. He earned an agrégation in history from the Institut d'études politiques de Paris. A career diplomat, he occupied several roles at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, notably a five year mission as Consul General of France in Boston, ambassador posts in Asia and South America, and a mission at the Inspection générale des affaires étrangères.
