Fulbright France IEA Seminar 2024 in Paris (14 representatives from American universities)
After Normandy (Caen & Le Havre), the 2024 delegation of US higher education administrators finished its tour of French institutions in the capital, Paris:
October 14:
- Université Paris Dauphine-PSL: Presentations on international relations and DEI initiatives
- IUT de Saint-Denis (Université Sorbonne Paris-Nord): Overview of the IUT & international relations, presentation of each academic department
October 15:
- PariSanté Campus: Overview & Presentation of onsite research and entrepreneurship
- Inserm: Overview of health research in France
- Universcience: Presenting the links between Universcience and higher education and research
October 16:
- Ecole nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs (EnsAD): overview of the school, guided tour & focus on specific programs
- Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (CIUP): overview of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research & its international strategy, Horizon Europe and international cooperation & DU Passerelle
- Dinner at the Restaurant Ciel de Paris (Maine Montparnasse Tower) to close the IEA seminar
We had to say goodbye last night to our 14 American higher education administrators, who now return to the USA after more than 10 days in France, during which they were able to: better understand the workings of the French higher education system, forge privileged links with French universities and enrich their professional networks.
