Fulbright France IEA Seminar 2024 in Le Havre (14 representatives from American universities)
After Caen, the 2024 delegation of US higher education administrators continues its tour of Normandy institutions:
- October 10: visit of the Université Le Havre Normandie (which coordinates EUNICoast, the European University of Islands, Ports and Coastal Territories, in partnership with 13 European institutions & 107 associated partners in Europe and beyond). The group was welcomed by President Pedro Lages dos Santos, met representatives of the various faculties and visited the university's incredible library.
- October 11: The group visited Sciences Po Le Havre, where they were welcomed by its director, Michaël Hauchecorne. The 530-student campus focuses on the Asia-Pacific region. Undergraduates spend two years here, before continuing for a further two years at a partner university abroad. All courses are taught in English. The three main fields of study are economics and sociology, humanities and political science.
Since Oct. 1, 2024, Sciences Po has a new president: Luis Vassy (diplomat & former French ambassador to the Netherlands). He was just visiting the Le Havre campus this day. Matthew Thomas, of the Paris office, also presented Sciences Po's international strategy to the group.
Thanks to these institutions for welcoming our IEA 2024 delegation from the US!
