
OPEN APPLICATIONS - 2026/27 Fulbright France grants for US citizens - Scholar Programs to France
Deadline: September 15, 2025
The Franco-American Commission, co-financed by the French and American governments, offers grants to US citizens through the US Scholar Programs for a mobility in France between September 2026 & August 2027:
- candidates who have more than 5 years’ professional experience, or who have already obtained a Doctoral degree
- academics, university and college administrators, professionals, and artists to lecture and/or pursue research in France
Different US Scholar Programs:
- Core programs: lecturing and research grants (All disciplines / French studies / IMéRA, Aix-Marseille University / CY Cergy Paris University / EHESS, postdoctoral level / Université Grenoble Alpes / Université de Montpellier)
- Partnership with regional councils: Grand Est / Hauts-de-France / Nouvelle-Aquitaine / Normandie
- Tocqueville-Fulbright Distinguished Chair Award: high-level teaching and research project
Value/benefits: a monthly allowance and a travel allowance (details of each grant on our website)
Duration: 3 to 12 months (between September 2026 & August 2027), depending on the program and the project
