On November 9, The Franco-American commission organized a ceremony to honor the memory of former director Arnaud Roujou de Boubée who recently passed away.
The co-presidents of the board of directors, members of the Roujou de Boubée family, alumni and friends of the commission spoke at the Commission in Paris about the lasting impact Arnaud had on their lives and careers. They were joined by over 100 alumni and friends from around the world, including Fulbright colleagues in Helsinki and Washington. The ceremony highlighted the values of the Fulbright community and its commitment to scientific and cultural cooperation between France and the United States.
To perpetuate the memory and pay tribute to the work of its former director, the Commission announced the creation of an annual Arnaud Roujou de Boubée Award. The details of the Award and a call for candidates will be announced shortly. The board of directors conference room at the Commission was renamed in the honor of Arnaud Roujou de Boubée.
