
OPEN APPLICATIONS - Scholar Programs to France (Fulbright France grants for US citizens)
The Franco-American Commission, co-financed by the French and American governments, offers grants to US citizens through the US Scholar Programs:
- candidates who have more than 5 years’ professional experience, or who have already obtained a Doctoral degree
- academics, university and college administrators, professionals, and artists to lecture and/or pursue research in France
Different US Scholar Programs:
- Core programs: lecturing and research grants (All disciplines / French studies / IMéRA, Aix-Marseille University / CY Cergy Paris University / EHESS, postdoctoral level / Université Grenoble Alpes)
- Partnership with regional councils: Regional Council of the Grand Est / Regional Council of Hauts-de-France / Regional Council of New Aquitaine
- Fulbright Specialist Program: 2-6 week research program for scholars & professionals
- Tocqueville-Fulbright Distinguished Chair Award: high-level teaching and research project
- Other programs: Fulbright-Schuman Program / Inter-country Lecturing Program / Fulbright Global Scholar Award
Value/benefits: a monthly allowance and a travel allowance (details of each grant on our website)
Duration: 2 weeks to 12 months (between September 2024 & August 2025), depending on the program and the project
